Instructions for authors
médecine/sciences offers high-quality review articles in French, covering all areas of biomedical research. The articles are aimed at a large readership of researchers, scientists and clinicians researchers, teachers, students and medical doctors, from different fields. m/s is not a primary publication, and thus will not consider unpublished data. The articles should be written IN FRENCH and satisfy both literary and scientific requirements.
The articles are indexed in PubMed since 2003, with the exception of "Brèves" (very short News).
Three sections can be found in m/s:
- Reviews on a precise topic written by specialists in the field. Beyond the report of facts, these reviews must propose a real discussion of the scientific results. In this section can also be found Technical Reports (presentation of newly developed biomedical techniques).
- The Forum section offers articles of reflection, debating important issues at the interface between science and society, essays on history of science, public health, or reactions to published articles. m/s also publishes lists of facts or figures/statistics covering topics in the fields of epidemiology, demography, health economics, etc.
- The magazine reflects the latest scientific actuality, reporting on original results published recently. It consists mainly of News, solicited or unsolicited, and "Brèves" (very short News).
All articles must be submitted electronically via the Fontisworks system ().
